John G. Kiskinis
John G. Kiskinis, President of Kiskinis Communications, is a highly respected marketing and public relations professional within the media circles who has provided advertising and public relations counsel to a number of corporations, South Florida based non-profit organizations and internationally-recognized events. He founded the firm in 1988. His diverse list of clients includes Adonel Concrete, Miami International Auto Show, Titan America and the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. Kiskinis was a past winner of Miami-Dade County's Up & Comers Award in the Public Relations/Sales/Marketing category.
A native of Miami, Kiskinis believes in giving back to the community. He has served in many capacities on a number of boards. He is a past president of the Greater Miami Advertising Federation and was awarded the organization's Silver Medal for outstanding contributions to advertising and furthering the industry's standards and creative excellence in areas of social concern. He served two-terms as president of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival – the nation's largest outdoor public arts show– guiding the event to a prestigious #1 ranking in Sunshine Artist Magazine.
He currently serves on the board of directors of the Coconut Grove Junior Chamber Foundation and Casa Valentina and held similar positions with the Miami Bridge and South Dade YMCA.
He earned a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communications from the University of Florida and locally, attended LaSalle High School where he was named the first recipient of the school's Distinguished Alumni Award. Previously, he served on the executive committee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Miami program, and chaired the 47th annual Junior Chamber World Congress, which attracted more than 7,000 delegates from over 100 countries to Miami.
Melissa Nobles, Consulting Account Director, is responsible for managing the integrated marketing, digital and social media strategies for many of the firm’s clients.
An innovative strategist and talented copywriter, Mrs. Nobles Gonzalez connects many of our client’s business needs with inventive and engaging communication tactics. Whether a campaign calls for traditional, online or experiential marketing approaches, Mrs. Nobles Gonzalez provides our clients with fresh thinking and a true understanding of business objectives.
Since joining the agency in 2009, she has had the opportunity to work with a number of the firm’s clients across a variety of sectors including the arts, automotive, government, non-profit, lifestyle and construction. Her efforts have assisted the agency in receiving multiple association awards, including, First Place in Social Media by the Florida Festivals & Events Association for the 2015 Coconut Grove Arts Festival.
A native of Miami, Mrs. Nobles Gonzalez holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, as well as Political Science, from the University of Florida.
Jose Godur, Managing Director, a son of Hispanic immigrants from various nationalities, Jose Godur was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He has more than 20 years of experience in the Hispanic music, television and entertainment industries. After graduating from Berklee College in Boston, Massachusetts with a degree in Music Business and Entertainment, he launched his career with Warner Music Group's Latin Division and soon became the National Director of Sales for the U.S. and Caribbean regions. Opportunity paved the way to work with colleagues and clients from Latin American countries including Mexico, Puerto Rico, Panama, Colombia, Argentina, Dominican Republic and Venezuela among others.
With vast knowledge of the U.S. Hispanic market acquired with such clients as Sony and Universal, Godur expanded into television marketing and advertising. He joined the Univision Network as Sales Manager for its Cleveland, Ohio station. He since has worked with local, regional and national clients in medical, automotive, sports, financial, travel, insurance, food & beverage and theme park industries, as well as a wide range of local Hispanic businesses and community centers.
